Mount Hood/Fox Den Publishing was incepted by two friends who also happened to be self-published authors.  They both decided that it was an inspired idea to start a grassroots small press that specializes in helping first-time Pacific Northwest authors to become published.

We accept both author and agent submitted work.

Please keep in mind that MHP and FDP are small-scale, short-run, local publishers, and books are distributed regionally. If regional and internet sales justify the investment, then MHP will pursue a wider distribution.  All books will also be published as POD and made available through Amazon and other internet booksellers.
